The proposed E-Block Cement factory will be located in Ogun State, Nigeria. Nigeria occupies a prime place in the Western Coast of Africa with an area of 923,768 square Kilometres. Landing above the Gulf of Guinea, one has to go north for 1040kms, to reach the border of Nigeria.

State-of-the-art equipment

The E-Block Cement Plant will deploy state-of-the-art equipment for cement manufacture with all necessary steps being taken at each manufacturing stage to minimise environmental impact. 748 people will be employed on the factory providing significant economic benefit to the local area, Ogun State and Nigeria.

Did You Know?

However, the history of modern cements dates back to the 1700s when John Smeaton investigated the best materials for the rebuilding of the Eddystone Rock lighthouse in England. He found that slaked limes containing considerable amounts of clayey material gave the best mortars for use in such severe conditions.
